Art has the power to initiate change and generate conversations.
Artists in grades 11 and 12 created pieces focused on the question, "How can we promote a culture of kindness and acceptance for all in our community?" They were challenged to use symbolism, phrases, colours, and textures to create a message through their art and write a corresponding artist statement. This project was done with the support of The Raven Youth Centre and Resilience BC - Anti Racism Network.
